Affordable accommodation with a great location close to the city center and university. the friendly staff gave a warm welcome and provided helpful information.
Some noise disturbances from other guests at night and the traffic on the street. the room was a bit basic and lacked a table.

I felt like I was in a gritty urban drama when I arrived, but the friendly staff and communal vibe won me over. The bed was surprisingly cozy and everything was clean. It's not for everyone, but it has its charm.
Just a small inconvenience, my sink didn't work.

The hotel is conveniently located near the center and university, making it a great option for those who want to be close to the action. The shared facilities, including a kitchen and bathroom, were clean and well-maintained. Despite the basic room accommodations, the bed was surprisingly cozy, providing a comfortable night's sleep. The friendly owners and camaraderie among guests added to the overall positive experience.
Some of the other guests were quite noisy, which could be disruptive to those wanting a peaceful night's rest.

The room at 70 Southfield was cozy and comfortable, just like a little hideaway. I loved having a tea/coffee maker and electric kettle in the room, so I could relax with a hot drink after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found the kettle a bit tricky to use, but others may still enjoy having it.
